I was at the dentist yesterday reading People Magazine in the waiting room, which is actually the only place people read People Magazine. While thumbing through the latest unnecessary celebrity news, I saw something in the obituary section that seemed really wrong but kind of funny.  The man who voiced the robot on Lost In Space, Dick Tufeld, died and instead of putting a picture of him they put a picture of the robot.  That just seems kind of mean to me, he was a person after all. 

You would think they could put a picture of Tufeld instead of a picture of Justin Timberlake.  Is anyone really reading People Magazine and saying “Oh, Justin Timberlake is having a birthday, what does he look like again? I wish there was some sort of photo to show me who he is.” 

Since People wouldn’t show a picture, here is a photo of Tulfeld and the robot.  That’s Dick Tufeld on the left, and the robot on the right.

In conclusion, it looks like the robots are already taking over, starting with the obituary column in People Magazine.
